Superior quality clear quartz rods are annealed and fire polished to eliminate flaking. This material is GE214 semiconductor grade fused quartz. Ideal for stirring molten metal. Overall length 12″ x 3/8″ diameter. Melting point 3183° F (1750° C).
High quality solid steel mandrel can increase ring size up to size 10.5. Six evenly spaced blades provide even cutting and pressure around wax. Knurled handle provides excellent grip and control. Cutting section of mandrel ranges from 1/2″ (12.7 mm) to 13/16″ (20.3 mm). Cutting mandrel fits ring sizes 1.5 to 10.5.
