Soldering

Select, close-grained, knot-free wood is chemically prepared with a special process for soldering. Easily punctured to hold work. (Not heat rated).

A general purpose zinc chloride flux for soldering with all soft solders use with tin-lead solder, tin-antimony solder, Stay-Brite solder.

Used for soldering virtually all metals, except aluminum, magnesium or titanium. Not recommended for use in electrical or electronic applications.

#7 glasses for soldering platinum. Approved by the Platinum Guild.

Replacement carbons.

For use in low temperature brazing and silver soldering ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Contain no asbestos. Lightweight blocks reflect heat and perforations hold pins to keep work in place while heating. Withstands temperatures up to 2000F (1093C).

A jeweler’s dream for soldering rings when re-sizing. Just fill the cup with cold water and submerge the stone and mounting while soldering the shank to keep the stone cool

Nature’s Touch Citric Acid Pickle is a mild pickling solution used for silver, gold, brass and copper.

Standard sodium bisulfate compound is mixed with warm water to make economical solution. Works best at 125 F (52 C).

Our solder cutting pliers offer two ways to cut. It cuts sheet solder in 1/16 -1.60mm- squares or wire solder up to 18 gauge in 1/16 -1.60mm- lengths.
